Alcoholic beverages are packed in glass bottles because glass does not react with them and preserves the taste and quality. Strict quality control measures are followed to maintain the quality of the final product. The process starts with procuring high-quality raw materials. As the quality of raw materials can affect the taste of the final product. Technologically advanced procedures are used in the plant. Detailed measurements and analysis of the final product are done. The final product is packed in glass bottles as per the regulations. Types of alcoholic beverages The different types of alcoholic beverages are produced as follows: Whisky Whisky is produced from a fermented mash of grains like malted barley. After distillation, the alcohol is aged in charred white oak barrels for 1 - 2 years. It is usually distilled using the pot still or the patent still method. Additional caramel colour is added to it to get the desired colour. Brandy Brandy is made from distilling fermented grape juice. Once distilled the alcohol is aged in oak wood barrels for a minimum of 3 years. Due to ageing in black oak wood barrels the alcohol develops a beautiful amber colour. Additional colour is never added to brandy. Brandy can be aged up to a period of 70 years. Rum Rum is a spirit made from fermented sugarcane products like sugarcane syrup, sugarcane juice and sugarcane molasses. Such rums are called industrial rums. Rums that are produced from pure can juice are called agriculture rums. Rum is manufactured in all sugarcane-producing countries. Vodka Vodka is made from fermented cereal grain but now mostly corn, sugarcane, fruits, honey and maple sap are used. Vodka is a clear distilled alcoholic beverage and is composed mainly of water and ethanol with some flavouring. All the characteristics are removed from the alcohol leaving it tasteless, odourless, colourless and smooth. It has an alcoholic percentage of 40%. Packaged drinking water To produce safe and fresh drinking water a rigorous purification process is used. The bottling process is closely monitored and strict quality control measures are used. It offers a healthy drinking experience every time. It avoids a minor chemical reaction between the minerals in the water and the spirits.
